Interactive production learning

See how production choices can push whisky character in different directions.

This simulator is an educational model. It does not predict a real distillery's new make or finished Scotch. It helps connect concepts from fermentation, peat, copper contact and maturation to broad sensory tendencies.

Why the model is deliberately simple

Real whisky character comes from many interacting variables, including raw materials, yeast, fermentation conditions, still geometry, charge, heating, cut points, condenser design, cask history, oak, warehouse conditions and time. The sliders show direction rather than a formula for creating a specific flavour.
